Update on the COVID-19 booster programme:

Please note from 14th December 2021 we are supporting the Booster vaccine programme at North Anston and this involves all staff at the Practice.

We have had to provide staff at very short notice to cover shifts from 7am to 9pm to enable us to reach the government target of vaccinating everyone over 18 years of age by the end of the year.

As always, we will continue to support you all during this period, but please be aware our resources will be stretched.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during these unprecedented times.

Launch of RotherHive – Mental Health Awareness Week

Adults in Rotherham can now get access to quick and easy help and advice on a range of mental health and wellbeing issues all in one place after the CCG launched new online platform on Monday 18th May as part of Mental Health Awareness Week (18th - 24th May). The online platform, RotherHive (, has been developed by the CCG to provide a range of verified practical tips and advice as well as local, national and online services, organisations and groups that adults in Rotherham can access for expert advice to help look after their mental health and well-being. Following several initiatives, conversations in the community and feedback, it became clear to the CCG that adults in Rotherham needed a reliable online platform where they could go to get trusted and verified information.

With the Mental Health Awareness Week theme being ‘kindness’ this year, RotherHive provides people with a steps of how they can help themselves, a friend or a family member who may be in need of help. RotherHive is an addition to the Rotherham Health App, which is already providing patients a way to manage their health and access the help they need.
Please share the RotherHive platform with patients and share the posts on the CCG/RotherHive Facebook page. You can view the platform at

In March 2018 NHS England published national guidelines on reducing the prescribing of over the counter medicines for minor, short-term health conditions.

As a result of this, items that can be bought over the counter may be removed from your prescription. These items can be bought from a wide variety of supermarkets and pharmacies.
